Woven with the threads of triumph, tragedy, hard work, and Texas magic.
Born to a family of peach farmers in North Texas, Kid and his brother, Jesse, had rodeo in their blood. They spent their youth riding broncos, chasing the thrill of the arena, bound by their wild spirits.
Jesse's prized mare, Miss Blossom, was the heart of their rodeo dreams. Sleek and swift, she was a champion. When Jesse tragically passed away, Kid returned to the family peach farm, seeking solace in the familiar soil and trees.
Miss Blossom, entrusted to Kid, became his steadfast companion.
He poured his heart into the land, nurturing the trees with dedication. Folks said he had a magic touch, that he could whisper to the trees and make them grow twice as fast. Some even swore that during “golden hour,” the peaches under his care glowed faintly in the sunlight.
Miss Blossom was always by his side, a comfort in the present and a reminder of the past. But fate dealt another blow when Miss Blossom broke her leg. Despite Kid's best efforts, she couldn't be saved. He buried her beneath the oldest peach tree on the farm, where he and Jesse had played as children.
The next day, the ancient tree, which had stood dormant, burst into bloom, its branches heavy with blossoms. Among the blooms, one peach began to grow, larger and more vibrant than any Kid had ever seen. It glowed with a soft, ethereal light. As the peach grew, so did Kid’s wonder. It was as if Miss Blossom had left him one final gift.

Soon, it began to hop energetically. Some folks said Kid swore he could hear the neighs of Miss Blossom echoing from the peach. The ripe and huge peach fell from the branch and began to buck all around the farm. Kid's rodeo instincts kicked in, and he vowed to wrangle that peach if it was the last thing he did.
Kid tried to wrangle that peach for days, holding on for nearly a month before it bucked its way to Lake Weatherford. Some say Kid drowned in the lake. Some say Kid never existed.
However, ask any Parker County native, and they'll tell you that Kid Ketchum is still riding that peach and that during golden hour, when the Texas sky reflects off Lake Weatherford just right, you can hear the neighs of Miss Blossom, and the hollers of Kid Ketchum as he still tries to wrangle that peach to this very day.
From the "Parker Farm," to "Parker County."

This beer boasts a pale golden to light amber appearance, slightly hazy with a frothy white head, reminiscent of a Texas sunset over Lake Weatherford.
The clean, slightly dry finish with lingering peach flavor mirrors the enduring legend of Kid Ketchum. Perfect for warm weather, this versatile ale pairs well with light dishes, grilled chicken, and desserts like peach cobbler, capturing the essence of Kid's magical tale.
